Covid Guidelines 2022:

Admissions:

When new residents are moving into our homes, we have clear protocols in place. We ensure any new residents coming into our homes, whether from the local community or hospital, have been tested in advance and are negative for Covid-19.

Visitors:

All visits to our homes do not require to be booked in advance.

However, if you wish to visit the home for a viewing or show round, we will continue to request these continue to be booked in advance to allow us to manage the number of people attending at any one time.

No testing is required but we ask that you wash your hands-on arrival and wear a facemask provided by the home. The face mask should be worn at all times, except for eating and drinking. All visitors must not enter a home if feeling unwell.

Visitors are welcome to visit either in a bedroom or private room as long as a face mask is worn when not eating or drinking.

Residents are welcome to leave each home without the need for isolation or testing on return.

During an outbreak that is determined by Public Health (England), one visitor will be permitted to visit, and this person can be interchangeable.

All procedures put in place are to ensure everyone is protected and our homes remain COVID free

These procedures include:

  • Any residents moving into the home will be tested and isolated in line with current guidelines.
  • Appropriate PPE is worn by all staff members in the building.
  • COVID-19 training is completed by all team members and updated on a regular basis.
  • Stringent cleaning schedules are in place with additional cleaning due to the current pandemic.
