Residents at Marham House Care Home were surprised with a glamorous 50s themed champagne and sparkle Christmas Party, where they were invited to dress to impress and dance the night away. Our reception area was transformed into a high-class cocktail bar, whilst the lounge and dining area were decorated for Christmas with an added touch of sparkle and dazzle.
The night started with a champagne reception, followed by a buffet of food, cakes and mince pies cooked by our very own kitchen staff. Care staff were then invited to take part in games including the whipped cream challenge famously seen on TikTok.
One resident commented “It was lovely to see everybody so happy and excited for Christmas” another said, “The evening was lovely and felt like the old days when I would celebrate with family and friends.”
Georgia Marham’s Lifestyle Co-ordinator commented “There was lots of dancing to Christmas and 50s music, the whole evening felt very glamorous and festive”.
Jackie Mogg Lifestyle Lead said “Lifestyle are so pleased to hear such lovely feedback from residents who attended our Champagne and Sparkle party for Christmas. A fun night was had by all with lots of glitter, champagne, and dancing. The whipped cream challenged caused much more merriment and added to the fun.”
